Old man with beard and medieval cap. In my sketchbook, I drew a portrait of an old man with a long, flowing beard. He is wearing a medieval cap, tilted slightly as he gazes down and to his right. A graphite pencil brought his weathered features to life.
Here’s a recent sketch! I found a reference image by Raphael in a magazine while I was waiting for something. I did a quick pencil drawing in my sketchbook in about half an hour, and I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out. Image by Jan Brons
